Kay's teacher's elegant rice krispie treats.
In large pot, stir sugar and corn syrup. Turn on heat and wait for bubbles to form. Let the mixture bubble for about 15-30 seconds and then turn off heat completely (do not overcook!) Stir in peanut butter. Add rice krispys. 6 cups is an estimate. If you add too much cereal, the treats will become too dry and crunchy. If you add too little, the treat will be too gooey. It should be a similar consistency as normal rice krispy treats.
Spread the rice krispy mixture into a greased 9x11 pan. Melt chips (either in the microwave or on the stove). Stir and spread the chocolate mixture over the rice krispy mixture. Let cool. Cut. Enjoy!!
