When mixed well, add the melted chocolate and stir well.
Add the vanilla, salt, and nuts and mix thoroughly.
Grease an 8-inch square pan and spread the mixture in using a spatula.
chill until firm and cut into small squares.
Makes 1 3/4 pound of fudge.
