This Italian staple is a simple but intensely flavored sauce with a secret ingredient.

Start by sautéing the pork neck bones until brown. Remove the neck bones to separate plate when brown and add the diced onions and carrots to that pork skillet. Blend the tomatoes, onions, and carrots and add back to skillet and place pork neck bones back into sauce and simmer. Add whatever spices to your liking.
You can use this as a noodle sauce or a meatball sauce.
Use San Marazano brand tomatoes, they make a huge difference!
