Suggest a better description1. Use a large stock pot for this meal. Cook the meat first (if raw), using a bit of oil or broth to prevent sticking, as needed. If meat is already cooked, place it in the bottom of the pot first.
2. Pour the broth into the pot, followed by the other ingredients EXCEPT the fettuccine noodles. Stir to mix, then break noodles in half and add them to the pot. Press noodles down to make sure everything is covered by the broth.
3. Cover and heat to boiling, then uncover and reduce heat to medium. Continue cooking (uncovered) for 10-15 minutes, stirring at intervals (about every 5 minutes) but without stirring too often (leads to sticky pasta).
4. The meal is ready when the pasta is cooked and there is minimal liquid remaining in the pot.
