Gluten free, no carb bread substuitute
Heat oven to 300 degrees. Cover baking sheet with foil and spray with Pam.
Separate egg white and yolks into separate bowls. Whip together whites and cream of tartar until VERY stiff (turning bowl upside down will not drop out).
In other bowl, beat yolks and cream cheese together well. Add baking powder.
Gently fold whites into yolk mixture; try to keep air in whites.
Spoon mixture onto baking sheet forming 8 circles. Flatten circle a little bit. (May have to use two baking sheets)
Bake in middle of oven for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from oven and cool. Store in loose plastic bag with end opened to prevent sweating.
Excellent gluten free alternative for hamburger buns.
