Oreos in cookie bars
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix flour, salt and baking soda until well blended. Beat butter and sugars in large bowl until well blended. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well. Gradually add flour mixture, beating well after each addition. Stir in chips.
Press 2 cups of dough into bottom of greased 9x13 pan, top with Oreos arranged in 3 rows of 6 cookies each.
Place remaining dough on large sheet of waxed paper, pat into 9x13 rectangle. Do not add extra flour. Invert over cookies, remove waxed paper. Gently press dough around each cookie.
Bake 28 minutes until lightly browned. Cool completely.
