Suggest a better descriptionPreheat your oven to 400 degrees F Mix the oil, honey, vanilla, and egg in a medium size bowl. Add the flour, salt, carob chips and pecans. Place in a greased 8" x 8" cake pan Bake for 15 minutes or until the top has just started to turn a golden brown. Cut immediately into squares once you remove from oven. My husband devours these by the row! If you leave them in the oven too long they tend to lose their chewy texture and become more cakey.
