Suggest a better description1. Add bacon to a large saucepan over medium heat; cook until crisp, about 5 minutes. Transfer bacon to paper towels to drain. Drain all but 2 tablespoons drippings from pan.
2. Add onion to pan; cook over medium heat about 3 minutes. Stir in garlic and red pepper; cook 30 seconds. Add tomatoes and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes, breaking up tomatoes with a wooden spoon.
3. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package direction. Drain.
4. Stir basil and bacon into tomato mixture, then stir in cooked pasta. Garnish with additional basil and sprinkle with Parmesan.
