Gwen's recipe
Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt, karo & water in sauce pan.
Bring to boil stirring constantly until thick & & clear, about 4 min.
Add Jello.
You may add fruit hot or cold. Let cool.
You can put this into 2-8' cooked pie shells.
I double the recipe for the 9x13
I use pecan crust for 9x13
1c. butter 2 cups flour
1 cup finely chopped pecans
Mix together and press into bottom of 9x13 pan and bake at 350 for 15-20 min. , let cool
Pour in cooled fruit mixture. Let cool in ref. about 2 hrs. or more before serving
Top with cool whip. I add about a 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt.
