Bring water, sugar and syrup to boil and cook until sugar dissolves. Add raw peanuts and cook until temp reaches 300 degrees, stirring constantly and make sure it doesn't burn. Add soda and vanilla, stir quickly. It will really foam up. Pour on greased cooking sheet and cool. Then break into pieces
