Suggest a better descriptionBeat shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla together until creamy. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture; blend well. Stir in peanuts and oats. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cooky sheets. Bake in a preheated moderate oven (375 F.) 12 to 15 minutes.
