Suggest a better descriptionPreheat oven to 350. Beat until soft 1/2 c. butter. Blend until creamy 2 T. sugar. Add 1 tsp. vanilla. Measure then grind 1 c. pecan meats. Sift before measuring 1 c. cake flour*. Stir pecans and flour into butter. Roll into small balls and place balls on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes. Roll, while hot, in powdered sugar. Let cool and roll in powdered sugar again. * can substitute 7/8 c. sifted all-purpose flour for the cake flour Posted to EAT-L Digest 27 Mar 97 by Betsey
