Suggest a better description1. Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil, add the pasta and cook until just tender.
2. At the same time slice the mushrooms and dice the ham. Finely chop the onion and garlic. Heat the olive oil in a large non stick frying pan and fry the onion for 1 minute until it softens. Add the garlic and rosemary and cook for 1 minute. Add the mushrooms and continue to fry for 5 minutes stirring in the ham after 2 minutes. Add the wine and simmer briefly.
3.Preheat the grill to high. Reserving a teacup of the cooking water, drain the pasta into a colander,and return to the pan without shaking off the excess water. Add the pasta to the frying pan with the parmesan, season with black pepper and a little salt and stir to coat. Return to a low heat and add a little of the reserved cooking water and stir until creamy.
4. Transfer the mixture into lasagne dishes, then scatter over the stilton and pop under the grill until melted.
Instead of stilton you can use cheddar.
