A great very simple penne pasta dish. Like a caprese salad in a pan!
Over medium heat, In a saute pan, add in this order:
Garlic oil
Crushed Red Pepper
Cherry Tomatoes sliced in two
Kalamata Olives
Black pepper
Salt
Move around the pan so ingredients don't burn, but don't break up
Once heated, add:
Cooked Penne Pasta
A little more Garlic Oil
Half the Basil
Move to a serving/mixing bowl (do not add the rest in the hot pan, it will melt quickly)
Add Mozzarella chunks
Remaining Basil
This is truly an "Italian Style" recipe. How much of each ingredient is up to you. Listed in the recipe are just guides.
Also, you can add any meat you like, sausage, shrimp, but good just by itself.
