This easy casserole assembles quickly and bakes in 35 minutes.
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly coat a baking dish with cooking spray. Scatter cream cheese cubes in the bottom of pan. Pour in chicken broth and sprinkle with garlic powder and pepper. Place pan in oven until cream cheese is melted; about 5 minutes.
2. Remove pan from oven and stir sauce until smooth. Add frozen pierogis and sausage. Stir gently to coat. Cover with foil and return pan to oven for 25 minutes.
3. Sprinkle with french-friend onions and bak 20 minutes more, until onions and pierogis have started to brown. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
You can substitute diced ham or Italian sausage for the chicken sausage.
