Suggest a better descriptionSprinkle teal (inside and out) with pepper. Stuff cavity with sauerkraut and then wrap bird in aluminum foil and cook for 10 minutes at 500?. Turn oven to 300? and cook for 2-1/2 hours. Make sure teal is wrapped properly so juice does not leak out. After cooking, turn over so juice goes throughout the bird. Meat should fall off the bone and the kraut is great. If you use canned sauerkraut, you might as well stuff a coot!! Yield: 2 teal per serving. CHARLES B. WHITESIDE, III From
