Preheat to 375º
Cream shortening and sugar
Add 2 well beaten egg yolks and vanilla
Sift together flour and baking powder
Add batter alternately with milk
Mix well. Divide batter in half.
Melt chocolate and add to half the batter.
Spread or pat each half into a rectangle about ? " thick on wax paper
Place chocolate sheet on vanilla sheet. Roll into long rolls. Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate over night.
Cut into thin slices. Place on greased baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes at 375º for 10 minutes or until brown.
