-Preheat oven to 400 degrees
-half pitas and spray with cooking spray.
-Toast in the toaster oven.
-Spray skillet with cooking spray.
-Saute the onion and green pepper in skillet until tender.
-Add salt and tomato. Stir often.
-Sprinkle about 1/3 of cheese in each half pita.
-Arrange a layer of the onion/tomato mixture in the pita.
-Sprinkle with remaining cheese, green onion, and oregano.
-Cook pitas in the oven until cheese is bubbly and slightly brown.
