Suggest a better descriptionPreheat broiler. Cut up chicken wings, discarding tips. Place sing pieces on the unheated rack of a broiler pan. Broil 4-5 inches from heat for 15-20 minutes or until chicken is browned, turning once.
Four sauce, in a 3 1/2 - 4 quart slow cooker, combine sweet-and-sour sauce, soy sauce, ginger, and red pepper. Add wing pieces, stirring to coat.
Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 3-4 hours or on high-heat setting for 1 1/2 - 2 hours. If desired, transfer to serving plate and sprinkle with green onions.
