In skillet, brown chops on both sides in butter. Place in ungreased 9x13 baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 450 for 20-25 mins until juices run clear.
Meanwhile, being vinegar to a boil in skillet. Reduce heat and add maple syrup. Cover and cook 10 mins. Combine cornstarch and water until smooth. Add maple mixture. Bring to a boil, cook and stir 2 mins or until thickened.
Sprinkle chops with brown sugar. Broil 4" from heat for 2-3 mins or until sugar melts. Drizzle with maple glaze.
