excellent colorado green chili
Put lard in a saucepan and let melt. Add pork and let it brown. After browned lift one side of pan so the lard drains to one side. Stir in flour and let brown. After browned set pot back down and stir it all together. Add all ingredients and about 6 cups water. Bring to a boil. After cooking if not thick enough you can thicken it with a roux of water and flour.
Use fresh roasted chilis or you can buy packaged frozen chilis at walmart
