Saute sliced onions in butter until golden brown and flavorful.
In hot skillet and 1-2 tbs. butter and begin to braise the pork steaks.
Allow each side of the steak to brown for 3-4 minutes per side.
Transfer to plate.
Transfer all to crock pot.
Add leftover juices to crock pot.
Add 2-3 cups hot water to cover meat.
Cook fir 4-6 hours until meat easily breaks apart.
Retain juices and make it the gravy.
