Very nice tasting roast
Put pot roast in center of two sheets of foil, one placed straight and the other turned crosswise to make double covering. Sprinkle onion soup mix over meat. Bring up sides of foil then pour beer over meat. Seal foil with some space at top for moisture to escape. Place foil wrapped meat in shallow pan and roast for 325 degree oven for 2 1/2 hours. Allow to rest a few minutes before carving. Pour sauce from foil and thicken with a little flower for a delicious gravy. Makes 6 servings
