Method -
Step 1: Wash and boil 3 potatoes with skin in a pan with 2 cups water with little salt say for 10-15 mins or till it is properly cooked.
Step 2 : Once the potatoes cool down, peel off the skin and mash them in a bowl.
Step 3: Now add 1/2 tsp Salt, 1/4 Tsp Pepper powder, 1/4 Tsp Roasted Cummin powder, 2 Tbsp Cornflour and 1/4 Cup Bread crumbs.
Step 4: Mix all the ingredients in the potatoes.
Step 5: On a flat surface, roll the dough into 2 cm thickness using a rolling pin.
Step 6: Apply a bit of oil on the surface and cut off round faces using a cookie cutter Or using a bottle lid or a small bowl of 4 cm diameter.
Step 6: Using a straw poke eyes and using a spoon make smile on the the round cut outs.
Step 6: Heat 2 cups of oil in a frying pan and on a medium flame start frying the smileys one by one.
Serve these yummy smileys with sauce, ketchup or Chutney.
