Easy pâté made with chicken livers

Brush 9” loaf pan with butter, line bottom of pan with 3 slices bacon cut to size, chill pan.
Cut remaining bacon into 1” strips.
Chop onion coarsely.
Simmer onion, chicken livers, salt, pepper, bacon, and parsley covered until livers are slightly pinkish grey.
Stir occasionally, bacon should not brown. Cool 30 minutes.
Sprinkle flour over mixture.
Put 1/2 in blender, add 1 egg and blend until smooth.
Repeat for other half. Pour into prepared pan.
Cover with 3 folds of foil with holes punctured in foil.
Place in larger pan filled with water. Bake at 350 for 2 hours.
Cool for 15-20 minutes. Unmold. Chill. Wrap in foil and store in fridge.
