A light and flavorful dessert that adds a perfect finish to a meal.
Mix together Ricotta cheese with the sugar and beat. Pour into a buttered glass dish and bake at 350 degrees until ricotta is golden brown. Remove from oven. Poke holes into ricotta. Pour milk mixture* over ricotta while it is cooling. Do not wait until it has cooled. Let set. Refrigerate. Drain off excess milk mixture and reserve for when it is served.
*While ricotta is baking, boil 6 c. milk and 1/2 c. sugar until skin forms on top. Do not scald! Remove from heat and then use as directed above.
Serve with almonds
