Saucepan:
Heat chocolate and water in saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
Add sugar; bring to a boil.
Boil for 2-3 minutes or until slightly thickened, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat; stir in butter and vanilla.
Variations: substitute 1 tablespoon orange liqueur or almond liqueur for the vanilla.
