Cream brown sugar and oil. Add eggs and vanilla. Add buttermilk, salt, soda, and flour. Add rhubarb and nuts. Pour into greased and flour pans. Cook at 325 for one hour.
Topping: 1/2 c sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 Tbs melted margarine, 1 Tbs flour
