in insert 1 pound rice and 3 quarts of milk cover with wrap cook for 20 minuets check stir with a wiskcook for 15 minuets meantime mix eggs sugar and vanilla in a bowl heat the rest of the milk after 15 minuets mix the eggs with the other milk cook till rice is thick it should have a soft creamy texture take off heat and cool
