Easy asparagus, roasted in the oven
Clean asparagus and break off woody ends. Arrange in single layer on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Drizzle wih olive oil. Broil on high about 5 minutes or until asparagus starts to brown. Remove from oven, turn asparagus over, the broil another 5 minutes or so till brown. Serve immediately.
