This is a simple yet delicious recipe for garlic butter seafood.
Butter Garlic Sauce Preparation
In a saucepan unwrap and place the 1lb of margarine to melt on medium heat, stir occasionally until melted
Once the margarine is melted add the Old Bay, 6oz beer, and stir. reduce heat to low
In a crucible mix the corn starch and water with a fork
Add the garlic to the sauce pan, stir and simmer for 4-5 minutes
Add the corn starch water combination to the sauce pan and stir frequently
Continue the stir and simmer until the combination is of desired thickness.
Maintain low heat until the seafood is cooked
------------
Seafood Preparation
Fill a large pot half full of water
Pour in the remainder of the beer used above
Bring the water/beer mixture to boil on high heat
Once the pot boils hard, add the desired seafood and cover
Continue heating until the water returns to a hard boil.
The seafood and water will begin to boil up and eventually over boil the pot. This is the sign I use that it is done. A watchful eye will make cleanup easier.
Once the seafood is done, use tongs or a strainer to remove the seafood and place it into the oven bag
With all of the seafood in the bag, stir and then pour the above butter garlic sauce over the seafood
Spin the bag and tie loosely so the sauce does not leak out.
Turn the bag over a couple times to distribute the sauce on all seafood.
Server and enjoy
