Suggest a better descriptionBlend until smooth peeled tomatoes, saute in butter onions and add to tomatoes. Throw in lemons, pickle juice, brown sugar, salt and pepper, mustard powder, bay leaves, Tabasco sauce, pickling spice, celery seed, cayenne pepper, butter, garlic powder, and basil. Simmer 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Makes about 1 1/2 quarts. Baste on meat the last 15 minutes of cooking. Sauce freezes well.
