Moist Sugar Cookies

Mix together the dry ingredients.
Cream together the butter and sugar then add sour cream, eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
Add dry ingredients - add additional flour as needed
Bake at 375 for about 6 minutes
Frosting:
Beat softened butter and vanilla extract until the butter is light in color and creamy, about 3 minutes.
Add powdered sugar gradually, about 1/2 cup at a time, mixing completely after each addition
Increase mixer speed and continue mixing while adding the heavy cream, start with the lesser amount and add more if needed.
Whip an additional 3-4 minutes until light an fluffy.
If desired substitute 8 ounces of butter with 4-6 ounces of cream cheese. Beat the cream cheese with the butter in the first step.
