From Southern Biscuit flour bag.
Heat oven to 450 degrees. Coat baking sheet with nonstick spray.
Measure flour into bowl, stir in sugar if desired. Cut in sugar.
Add milk and stir until just moist. For wetter dough, add additional milk.
Turn dough onto floured surface. Shape dough into ball. Handle dough as little as possible. Press to flatten and fold in half. Repeat 3 times. Lightly roll dough to 1/2 inch thick.
Cut biscuits with 2 inch biscuit cutter.
Bake for 10 - 14 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and brush with melted butter if desired.
