In 8-quart sauce-pot, heat 4-quarts water to boiling. Beat ingredients together. Over simmer water, with ribber spatula, press batter through spaetzle maker. A colander or grate with large hols will also work. Stir water tently so spaetzle do not stick together. Cook until spaetzle rise to the surface and are al dente. Drain.
