Suggest a better descriptionPlace all ingredients into a large soup kettle ( 8 -12 qt.).Add water (approx. 2 of the large cans filled). season to taste. I use the following(approx.):
1- 2 tsp. oregano
1-2 tsp. basil
dash of salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tbls. sugar
Simmer all ingredients together over low to medium heat fro 6 -8 hours. The longer it cooks the thicker the sauce will be. Add more water if necessary throughout the cooking process. Serve over your favorite pasta.
