My parents came up with this idea one day before pay day when we didn't have much food in the house. All we had were spaghetti noodles, sauce, a ring of kielbasa, olives and mushrooms. The kielbasa gives the spaghetti a smokey flavor to it that is really yummy!!!! :)
Set a pan of water onto the burner and throw in a handful of water. Heat the water until boiling.
While the water is heating up, cut the kielbasa sausage into 1/2 inch thick slices and add them into a skillet. Add the Spaghetti sauce, chopped olives, and chopped mushrooms to the skillet as well and heat until sauce starts to bubble.
When the water in the pan starts to boil, add the Spaghetti noodles to the water and let them boil until al-dente (Tender). Strain the water out of the noodles into a collender, put the noodles back into the pan and pour the Spaghetti sauce over the noodles, toss it together (Like a salad) making sure all of the noodles are coated with the sauce mixture.
Plate the Spaghetti and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top (optional) Serve with "Grandma Bauer's Famous Cheese Bread" for a real treat!(Optional) :)
