This dish is a yummy bowl of spicy chicken perfection. You can adjust the spiciness of this meal by altering the amount of red pepper flakes.
Instructions
Cook pasta and remove before al dente, set aside.
Meanwhile, heat 3 tablespoons olive oil in large pan over medium heat. Add onions and cook 3 – 4 minutes until tender.
Add garlic, red pepper and cook 3 – 4 minutes until onions are tender, set aside.
Heat 3 tablespoons olive oil, add chicken and cook just until pink no longer visible, approximately 5 – 6 minutes.
Add chicken broth, onion mixture, tomatoes and oregano to pan. Simmer over low heat for 10 – 12 minutes until sauce begins to thicken.
Add heavy cream, parsley, basil, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 4 minutes.
Add pasta to pan and cook for 2 – 4 minutes until pasta is warmed.
