Suggest a better descriptionSpread the strawberry conserve inside the base of the flan case. Fill with the ice cream and return to the freezer while preparing the meringue. Whisk the egg whites until stiff. Add half the sugar and whisk again until glossy. Fold in the remaining sugar. Remove flan from freezer. Top with the meringue to seal in the ice cream. Decorate with glace cherries and angelica and place in a preheated oven 220?C/ 425F/Gas Mark 7 for 8-10 minutes until browned. Serve immediately. NOTES : An easy to make impressive dessert. Try using pure fruit cherry jam or pineapple jam.
