Preheat oven to 425
Mix flour and salt. Work in butter by hand, or food processor until crumbly. Add just enough water so the dough can be gathered into a ball. Roll dough in a 10 inch circle. Set on a baking sheet. mix pecans and brown sugar together. Sprinkle 1/3 of mixture over pastry to within 1 inch of edge. toss the rhubarb with 1/3 mixture and spread on pastry. Arrange strawberry halves on top, sprinkle with remaining mixture and melted butter. Fold in 1 inch border partially covering the filling. Bake 40 min. until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is bubbly. Serve warm or cold with ice cream or whipped cream
