Cliff's Stuffing recipe
- Cut celery and onions (medium-small dice)
- Chop mushrooms (coarse)
- Chop water chestnuts (medium-small dice)
- Strip meat from cooked turkey neck (broth) and chop fine
- Cook sausage and crumble it. Add the turkey meat
- Cook celery, onions, and mushrooms in melted butter
- Add water chestnuts to onion mix
- Put boxed stuffing in a large container
- Pour meat and vegetable mix over stuffing
- Add warm brother (per instructions on stuffing box)
- Mix thoroughly and add dried sage
- Test for moisture level:
Compact a fistful firmly. It should hold together but break apart when poked
- Bake at 350 degrees 20-30 minutes in a large looking dish or aluminum tray
