Suurlemoen Brood:
1. Voor verhit oond na 180 grade Celsius.
2. Meng die volgende in ‘n bak saam: Eiers, Melk, Suiker, Olie, Suurlemoen ‘zest’ en Suurlemoen sap en laat staan eenkant.
3. Meng al die oorblywende bestandele saam in ‘n bak: Koekmeel, Bakpoeier, koeksoda en sout.
4. Giet die eier mengsel in die meel mengsel en meng deur.
5. Smeer / Spuit n brood pannetjie, en giet die mengsel in die pan.
6. Bak die brood vir 35-40 minute, toets met toets-pen om te kyk of die brood reg is.
7. Laat brood af koel in pan vir 5 minute, haal hom uit en plaas dan op draad rak.
Suurlemoen “Glaze”:
1. Wanneer die brood afgekoel het, meng die versiersuiker en suurlemoen sap saam in klein bakkie. Dit moet ‘n glad en looperige tekstuur wees.
2. Wanneer die brood afgekoel het, giet die mengsel oor die brood.
3. Sny en bedien.
