Meatballs with a kick. Great as an appetizer or for your pasta dish.
In a medium bowl, combine rye bread crumbs, milk, 2 tablespoons horseradish, egg, salt, and pepper. Add ground round and mix well. Using about 1 tablespoon for each, form into meatballs.
In a large skillet, heat oil. Add meatballs and cook over medium-high hat, turning often until cooked.
Sprinkle flour over meatballs in skillet and turn them to coat. Add beef broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer until sauce is thickened and meatballs are cooked through, about 5 minutes.
Stir in sour cream and remaining 2 tablespoons horseradish. Cook without boiling just until heated all the way through.
