Cookies that need no baking
Mix butter, granulated sugar, dates together and cook over low flame stirring constantly until mixture boils. Mix together beaten eggs, milk, and salt. Add to the date mixture and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from fire and add vanilla. Cool then add nuts and Rice Krispies. Form into 1" balls and roll in chopped nuts or coconut. Makes about 5 dozen.
