Stir fried chicken with Thai basil, peppers, unions served with steamed rice and a fried egg.
Clean and pick holy basil leaves from their stems. It may appear like a lot of leaves, but the leaves will shrink when cooked and this dish's flavor comes from the leaves.
Fry garlic in peanut oil, bring to boil but do not burn. When garlic starts to turn brown, drop the ground chicken in. Stir till chicken turns white. Add peppers, onions, fish sauce and soy sauce. Wait a minute then add the Thai Basil. Cover and let cook for till the basil wilts. Once steamed, remove cover and cook till onions almost turn clear.
Serve with rice topped with a fried egg.
