Serve with vanilla ice cream.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and place a splatter shield or old cookie sheet at the bottom of the oven.
Melt margarine in a microwave safe container for about 45 seconds.
In a large batter bowl with a pouring lip, use a whisk to beat eggs.
Add syrup, margarine, salt and sugar.
Beat with a whisk until well mixed and slightly fluffy.
Remove pie crusts from freezer and pour mix evenly into crusts.
Add one bag of pecans to each pie and using a spatula, gently push pecans down to coat.
Bake 1 1/2 hours or until top of pie starts to harden.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
If using refrigerated pie crust, cover edges of crust with aluminum foil; otherwise, edges of pie will burn.
Must use deep dish pie crusts; otherwise, pie will overflow and make a huge mess.
