1. Heat milk and butter til, melted, 5 min. Let cool til warm to touch.
2. Sift flour in large bowl, or pitcher so you can just pour the batter into the waffle iron. Whisk in sugar, salt and yeast. Add milk and butter, whisk til smooth.
3. In small bowl, whisk eggs, vanilla and bourbon til combined. Add to batter and whisk til well incorporated.
Scrape down sides with spatula, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 12-24 hours.
Heat waffle iron. Stir batter to deflate and recombine. Enjoy!!
Serve with butter, syrup, powdered sugar, whatever!
