Suggest a better descriptionMelt butter in saucepan over low heat. Blend in flour, salt, amd dash white pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook quickly, stirring constantly, till mixtire thickens and bubbles (use wooden spoon). Remove sauce feom heat when it bubbles. If sauce cooks to long, it becomes too thick and the butter seperates out to repair. Add more milk and cook quickly, stirring constantly, til sauce bubbles.
