Suggest a better descriptionPlace tofu cubes in a plastic bag and set bag in a small bowl. Combine soy sauce, sherry, sugar, ginger, garlic powder, and water and pour into bag with tofu. Marinate in the refrigerator 4 to 5 hours, turning bag over occasionally so that al pieces of tofu absorb the marinade. At cooking time: Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Remove tofu from bag, reservingmarinade. Place tofu in skillet. Cook , turning tofu so that it browns lightly on all sides. Pour marinade into small bowl and add cornsarch, stirring until dissolved. When tofu is browned, add snow peas and marinade to skillet. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
