Suggest a better descriptionIn a shallow pan, sauté onion and garlic in oil over medium heat, until translucent. Add tomatoes (passed through food mill if preferred), basil, oregano, sugar, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and continue to heat through for a few minutes, until most liquid evaporates.
Remove from heat and stir in cream and butter. Then place back on heat and continue to reduce to desired consistency. Add cooked pasta, toss and serve.
